The menopause is a period that occurs in women aged 50 and over. It is characterised by the end of the reproductive period and the cessation of menstruation. However, some women reach menopause at the age of 40 or younger. This is called early menopause. The following article highlights some exceptional remedies for early menopause.
Herbs, natural remedies to prevent early menopause
There are a number of herbs whose properties can be used to combat early menopause. These include clary sage, peppermint, cypress, green anise and others. These plants help to stimulate the production of oestrogen. Indeed, if you start to feel the symptoms of early menopause such as the absence of menstruation for a year, hot flushes, insomnia, decreased libido, irritability and vaginal dryness, it is advisable to use these plants. For sage, boil three grams of the leaf for about ten minutes and drink twice a day for six months. The others can be used in the form of essential oil or capsules. However, it is not recommended to use sage essential oil in order not to cause cancer of the uterus, breasts etc.
Safram effective in treating early menopause
Safram is a spice that can be used to treat early menopause. It helps to combat post-menopausal symptoms. It also helps to reduce hot flushes. For its use, 30 mg of safram should be taken daily, i.e. 15 mg in the morning and evening for at least two months.
Gynaecological treatment for early menopause
The treatment of early menopause in women is based on hormone replacement therapy. This treatment is done through the skin. In the case of hysterectomy, it is combined with an oral progestin. This prevents oestrogen deficiency. In the absence of menstruation or if symptoms are present, it is advisable to consult a gynaecologist.
